I know you did a few videos of athletic wear but what is your top sports bra? Top shoes?

I also struggle with SIBO and hormonal imbalance (thyroid 🖕🏽). I did CrossFit for a long time and then I got really sick. Honestly, walking and lifting are the only things that make me feel good. I try to run..it’s just so hard with the fatigue stuff. Also - I started using factor meals (I hate cooking) and that has helped my SIBO so much. Diversifying my food intake has helped. Thanks for keeping it real, Carrie. We love you for that.

I love how you have an average fitness life like me! I do recommend a gym but it is definitely not needed. I am a member of Crunch and love doing 12-3-30 on the treadmill. You can really play around with it. I like sprinting at the end bc I cannot run for long periods and I’m fine with that 😂 I like hot yoga/Pilates at Crunch too. I’ve wanted to look into heavy lifting and want to learn more about “Strong Lifts 5x5”. The older you get as a woman the less Hiit workouts you want to do bc how our hormones and bodies change. I only do Hiit once a week bc it feels so good!

And about the bra underwire - it's interesting 'cause I have large breasts and I always have an underwire, otherwise they would just fell off 😅 and I've never felt it really; guess it's just maybe a body shape thing

I love underwire bras. If I choose to wear one, unlined with wires are my go-to. Fit and quality is important though. The only ones I’ve ever had dig were the cheap/ more affordable ones. My mom is a large chested lady and always told me to just go for the nice bra because one expensive one may be better than every cheap one, and she’s so right.

I think you just have to have the right feet for doc martens. I’ve had a bunch of pairs and I’ve had very little problems with the shoes evens when they were new. I also figure skate which probably killed my feet in advance or something lol.

I just started running a little over 2 years ago and I just did my 2nd half marathon! I also HATED running in the past. Anyone can do it! I’m definitely a “slow runner” and I don’t have the typical runner body at ALL. My top tip is Nike Run Club. Coach Bennett has gotten me THROUGH. rooting for you 💕

Remember a few years ago when everyone had those Fila sneakers? I tried on a pair at the time and strange as it sounds, they made my big feet look weirdly small...and I didn't like it. Tried on some Sambas several mos ago and found them extremely uncomfortable. Dad sneakers (New Balance) I actually really like. Barrel jeans I also like a lot, but everything else, ugh. I am too old, on me it would look so bad and so "try hard." :( And I am fine w that.

I’ve bought so many expensive shampoos, but then I bought an $11 from Target, and it’s the best I’ve ever used + it smells like strawberries and not chemicals! I rarely use expensive makeup, and when I do, it’s gifted to me. My favorite makeup brands are e.l.f. and NYX, and their stuff costs less than $10 most the time.

You don’t break in uggs. They are comfy from the get go. Sounds like you got the incorrect size.

For sneakers that are super comfy, I honestly really like vessi. They are snug, they feel (some of them) a bit like a sock shoe but they are super comfy. I'd recommend giving them a try. Skincare is so challenging, but honestly for more sensitive skin, simple is often better. And even if you want to add steps to your routine you should do so slowly as different products react in different ways. So the more you do the you risk two products interacting weird. For a lot of skincare too, youre paying for the brand name, a lot of toners, washes in particular have VERY similar ingredients. Moisturizer, serum and night cream are where I personally invest as thats what sits on the skin longest but often simpler is better.

I felt insane about the dream coat too!!! It is by far the worst hair product I have ever bought.

I don’t have PCOS but I am T1D which can make high impact cardio difficult. Last year I started indoor rock climbing and it’s been a really nice combination of strength and endurance based exercise, bodily awareness, and critical thinking all in fitness. I recommend giving it a try!

I think the Vitamix has lost quality. I’ve had mine for over a decade, and it’s incredible. I know other people who’ve bought them in the last couple of years who have the issues you’ve had.

Try moleskin bandaids for your shoes that give you blisters. I used it to break in docs and horse riding boots
